Interview with Mikkel Hansen:
One of Denmark's greatest handball stars of all time, Mikkel Hansen, has just retired as a professional handball player and retired from the national handball team. Børnereporternes Elisabeth and Agnes caught up with Mikkel Hansen for a mini-interview the day before he travelled to the Olympics in Paris with the men's national team.

How many years have you played handball?

ANSWER: "I've been playing handball since I was 8 years old, so 28 years in total."

What is your BIGGEST experience in your handball career?

ANSWER: It was winning the Olympics in Rio. (Mikkel Hansen also ended up winning Olympic gold with the men's national team in Paris after this interview, ed.)

Why did you choose to play handball?

ANSWER: "Because I thought it was fun then, and I still do."

Was it difficult to make the national team?

ANSWER: "Yes, it takes a lot of practice. I've probably practised the same shot a million times!!!"
