Agnes loves going horse riding with the Pump Station: "It's such a nice feeling. To belong with the others."

Boots on, an apple for the horse in your pocket and off you go to Mattsson's riding school. Read on as children's reporter Mille joins Agnes and the other children from Pumpestationens rideklub to see the big horses.

How did you find out that you could ride with the Pump Station?

"Well, first I was told by my mum or dad, and then I tried to find out more myself."

How long have you been riding at Pumpestationens ride team?

"I've been going here for a few months."

Did you ride before you started here? "Yes, I did."

What are your favourite things about riding?

"It's probably the feeling of riding. It's such a nice feeling, like you belong with the others."

Do you have a specific horse you ride every time you ride here?

"Well, right now I'm riding a horse called Gossip."

How long do you ride the same horse at a time?

"If you share the horse out here, you ride half of the riding lesson and then you swap with someone else."

Have you ever been thrown by a horse?

"Yes, four times."

What is it about riding that you think makes it so great?

"It's being with the horses and doing the things you do."

What is your future goal in equestrianism?

"To saddle up all by myself, without needing help. And to get better at jumping."

Can you describe how you feel on horseback in three words?

"Fun, nice and good."

Do you go horse riding with friends or alone?

"I also go somewhere else, and that's with a friend. And the others here from the Pump Station riding team are also my friends. I just didn't know them before I started here."

What's important when you're out here?

"First and foremost to be calm. Because if someone is riding, the horse might get scared and you don't want a person to fall off or the horse to get hurt. And of course you also have to treat the horses well."
